About Mark
Mark is a talented voice actor and narrator who got his start in acting by playing tabletop roleplaying games. As a long time DM for multiple Dungeons and Dragons campaigns, improv and fun character voices are second nature for him. So, when an ADHD fueled impulse made him buy a microphone and start auditioning for small voice acting roles, and he actually landed the very first gig he auditioned for, the passion was ignited. The snowball has continued rolling, as just over a full year into this new path he has been cast as the lead role in multiple productions, been contacted directly by authors hiring him to narrate their books, and launched his own sleep podcast based around the lore of Dungeons and Dragons, the game that started it all for him.
Mark has always been a performer, although until recently his talents remained underneath the stage, rather than on it (virtual or otherwise). As a French Horn player, he spent several years performing in the pit orchestra for musical theater productions, while making his friends giggle as he recited the stage actors' lines word for word during rehearsals. His musical talent also took him abroad in 2015, touring seven countries in Europe over the course of two weeks with the Utah Ambassadors of Music program as part of the orchestra and choir.
Voice work is still a part-time gig for the time being as Mark continues his career in finance, but one day he hopes to change that and make this passion the center of his world (and introduce his anime-loving friends to their favorite voice actors when he makes it big). Until that day comes, he is happy to continue living this crazy life with his incredible wife, and their cat Nahida.
